Aside from the 'roof', have yo seen the 'Extreme' aero kit for the Sonoma / S-10 ? Gale Banks Racing used these aero tricks to help get the 1st-gen S-10/S-15 down to a Corvette's drag coefficient ( from Cd0.475, to Cd 0.315 ), for a 211-mph land speed record. That would have been good for a 16.8% mpg improvement at the old double-nickel speed limit.
