Technically, neither Prius, nor IONIQ are 'fastbacks.'
As long as an uninterrupted, continuous curve is not presented in the design, by definition, 'fastback' cannot apply.
Both cars are close, but they're not quite there.
Lightyear Zero is an example of a proper fastback.
