I got my gasket kit delivered today so I am ready to swap back to a stock head soon. I will probably just pull a head off one of the stock engines here and clean it up with stainless valves and new seals then just put it on the car.

Gas Log to this point:
Miles---gallons---mpg
186........7.95.....23.3
310.........6.4......48.4

So I am pretty happy with 48mpg. The car still needs a real alignment done and balance the tires, I know one of the back tires is 1/8 toed in. I have worked on most of the random issues through this tank and as far as I can tell everything else is right. I also have been playing with the engine's tune this tank so that doesn't help mileage much...

I had to put a real multi-position switch on the heater blower motor instead of just an on off toggle. The way I made the heater core basically a straight shot into the defrosters when the motor is blowing the car gets super hot inside, it feels like over 100 degrees in 30 seconds and the engine starts cooling off. Without a way to slow the fan speed down it really sucked. On a plus side I bet it could clear the windshield of a foot of snow in a few seconds
