gOOgle? Those are the guys proposing a gatwkeeper API for the web.
I was talking to my son, and was amazed that he is oblivious to the Micro$oft strategy of 'embrace, extend extinguish' that [quite literally] decimated computer companies in the 1990s. I mean, he lived through that.
Now here is gOOgle doing the same thing with HTML; add a layer to the TCP/IP stack without adding a layer.
