I needed to miss another 2 days of school and CVS may charge me $736 for simple stuff the VA should do.

A nurse practitioner called me this morning and said that my results were ready, but they aren't showing up on either CVS's or the lab's website, so I need to go in, scan a printout, and e-mail it.

How much will it cost to get an ADHD reevaluation and bifocals, because I am apparently that old?!

Supposedly a professor canceled a quiz because we couldn't take it in-person.

I went hiking with the lady again.

Supposedly, it took us three minutes longer to hike the same hike, without getting lost, with far fewer Xist breaks, when it was 7° cooler, and I didn't need to recover for fifteen minutes in the air conditioning.

I never want to clean a Camelback again and it seems like virtually everyone uses a Camelback if they need more than two bottles.

I wanted to carry four bottles on my waist, but I just found camelbacks and fanny packs that carried one or two bottles.

I asked ChatGPT and it kept recommending a fanny pack with two bottle holders.

I didn't want to wait for one of the sporting goods stores that survived freebeard's infamous psychic snap of 2016 to open so I could buy something perhaps a little more like what I wanted, but for an exorbitant price, so I bought a $22 fanny pack from Walmart that came with two bottles, and I fit two larger bottles inside.
  1. All of the bottles leaked. The $15 insulated Gatorade bottles leaked when they got squeezed and when I used them. The included bottles leaked when I used them.
  2. I wanted to wear the pack behind me, but then I couldn't open the zipper for the other bottles, and it wouldn't have fit well in the front because of my dang belly.
  3. I stopped a few times to catch my breath, but not nearly as many or for as long as last week, but I finally said "I feel like some giant band is constricting my breathing!" and carried my fanny pack over my shoulder.
I didn't need to stop again
So, I need to unscrew the bottles to use them so they leak less and the hands-free water transportation system failed.

We are not going hiking this weekend, we are supposed to have a 5k walk with my classmates, so it will be interesting to introduce my classmates to my personal life and learn more about them than I may have wanted.
