It's funny but I can imagine being towed because the windshield is not dot approved. I know, I know. It's good enough for an airplane but I kid you not I've had bigger problems from what I thought would be a lesser issue.

That side bulging associated with the wheels would utterly destroy the aerodynamics. And as discussed, if a cop or highway patrol officer saw that there was no DOT Laminate Safety Glass embossment or labeling, you might be looking at a tow truck, plus hefty fine.
The DOT screen from a Bede Lightstar would be $1,000, but would be too narrow.
