Ok what reynolds number? Yes that will make some differences particularly if you go turbulent at your left point on the arc. Doubt any shape you add will be laminar at any reynolds number but for a simple straight line bisecting (?) The arc, airflow will tend to ignore the simple line at some distance away until you can form vortices to reattach

For the deep chords and shapes you are getting further and further away from the possible boundary layer so whatever happening has got to be turbulent

Irv Culver used to say air was lazy. This is a demonstration of that
