Might as well Spin Launch at that point. Payloads that aren't sensitive to massive G loads are more efficiently slung terrestrially.
I'm not keen on attenuating sunlight to control temperature on earth, but prefer that as a solution to a dire situation over forcing everyone to become poor, especially unilaterally (AKA pointlessly).
So far, my understanding is that humanity will continue to enjoy a net benefit from further warming until about 2080, at which point further warming will begin to impose a net negative. We're a minimum of 60 years away from attenuating sunlight, if a "solution" ever is needed to be implemented.
My guess is that a drastic solution wouldn't be implemented for a couple hundred years, if one is ever implemented.
