It is funny though that a lot of people may fret over the kind of tires they have (I know I do) and/or vehicle they drive, but then don't care how they drive.
For an example, traveling at 50mph instead of 60mph will cut your stopping distance by about 50% (a lot more than 8', closer to 60' to 70' quicker) while only increasing the trip duration by 20%.
