Since I have always had difficulties with mumbling and stuttering, I started repeating what I couldn't say correctly in a singsong fashion and it helps.
Then I learned that we teach stutterers to do that, among other techniques.
Today, our professor showed us a video of a gunshot survivor with aphasia singing with her music therapist and SLP.
Many people can't sing, but somehow we are more fluent while singing than speaking.
It is fun, too!
