More concerned about highway mpg
For example in the Hyundai Ioniq hybrid, going from the limited version of 17 inch rims to 15 inch rims, the highway mpg increases almost 5mpg
Also on the new Prius, dropping from the “ premium model” with 19 inch rims to the base model of 17 inch rims, you also get a 5 mpg highway gain.
I was just wondering what would happen if you down size another 2 inches, and maybe even get an even lighter alloy rim
