I don't know if a long range Lightning will cost less. I almost guarantee the Silverado with 220kWh is going to cost more. It's possible the Ramcharger is less than a Ram Rev depending on the battery size. That will be the real tell if this is a good idea or not. The cab, suspension, and options cam be matched on a Rev vs Ramcharger.
What makes this better than a Lightning is not the 10,000 vs 14,000 pound tow rating, it's the 3 minute vs hour recharge time.
