So far we have 3 electric trucks for sale. One of them - the Hummer EV - has a GVWR of 10,550 lbs and a payload less than 1500 lbs. So it isn't a given that an electric truck will be under 10K.
I think RAM would be wise to keep it under $10K but then again there could be some advantages to having it over 10K to help them meet the CARB medium / heavy duty ZEV mandate.
