Honestly, I have lots of cross country skis hanging around. I use to buy old thrift store skiis to make bows/crossbows out of. It could very well be that they are the best human-powered option. I found that their clip designs had been outdated and the boots cost-prohibitive. I do have a very comfortable pair of unused roller blades in my room; perhaps those could be adapted..?
freebeard, me too; kinda. Winter is an excuse to get “ cozy” in the shop! I become a total workaholic in there every winter. I can’t say in a fan of Roku tvs. They seem to just stop working properly after a year. What was the point of eliminating buttons on the bottom of the tv? It’s like designers don’t believe a person could lose a tv remote in the couch.
