I have a bluetooth tracking device attached to the remote. It rings when activated from the app.

All that said, Google will turn on the TV if I tell it, and I often cast content from laptop to TV.

The only time the TV is used as a TV (OTA) is for the Superbowl. Funny enough, I don't even use the tuner built into the TV. I capture the broadcast with a USB tuner that feeds my Plex server, which feeds the TV.
