In the 1960s my mother painted
trompe l'oeil on the living room wall. IIRC a branch of a Birch tree.

In the 1980s they built a 3v geodesic dome that was 39ft in diameter. That's the optimal size for 4x8 sheets. When they sheet-rocked the interior, the scraps fit in a five gallon bucket.
