I want to get to a point where in the winter I don't have to faff about waiting for the windscreen to demist in the car in the morning.

I was thinking about bulk buying Silica Gel Packets and leaving them on the dashboard, or getting a dehumidifier, but I was wondering if anyone had any successful methods that fixed the issue for them?
