True. Which may be why my friend got the 64GB version. Nothing is upgradable, so you have to trade in the whole device if you need any sort of upgrade. But more than $4,000 on an a computer just to keep a couple spreadsheets going seems rediculous.

I feel I went overkill on my $400 PC build earlier this year with 8GB (later upgraded to 16) Core i5 12th gen (will upgrade to 13th when and if used 13th gen processors become cheap) and 2TB of storage (twice what my Mac friend has), that replaced my 12-year-old 2011 PC, and I do way more processor intensive things than that $4,200 Mac friend for a tenth the cost!
