Being that you have a diesel, more of the modern diesel engines will suspending fueling when in gear and off-throttle, which would be more fuel efficient than coasting in neutral.

Offhand, I don't know if Hyundai's diesels do. VW's TDI engines do, that much I do know.

Without someone authoratatively saying so, or without tools/gauges to check your fuel use, the only way you'd be able to tell is... try and see, and check after the tank needs refilling.
