If you look at the projected Dyno report, my 383 IS very close to a diesel's power bands.
Torque from1000 and good up to 3500.
Torque peak is 2000 but is fairy flat from 1500 with 399 and runs to 3000.
HP Peaks at 3500 both curves drop sharply at 4500.
The idea/concept is for the engine to LOVE running at 1500RPMs and to make the most power at 1500 and thus is also using the least fuel.
Lastly this would not work well with a carb. Carbs cannot meter fuel at such low RPMs and low air flow to draw out the fuel.
Only fuel injection can operate at low RPMs which has been shown in all tests.
It all comes together for my build.
