I was aiming for something beyond post pubescent, but still immature. Probably more relevant to me since my best local friends are a decade younger and Swiftie's themselves (keeping in mind almost all my friends are left of center). I count myself among admirers, but only the original country stuff. I'd accept no advice from her other than how to become a pop sensation, which unfortunately I have no interest in.

I had some conversation recently on the general subject of personal defense. This, here, isn't my concern, I don't carry a purse (cross my heart), but this is probably the very best video from one of my favorite Youtubers.

I'll give it a watch.
We're on the subject of tools, and those who are honorable, skilled, and disciplined should wield the best tools.
I EDC a knife, and use it multiple times a day on average. That tool serves multiple roles including weapon, but it's only weaponized as needed, which fortunately has been never.
Over time, I consider myself to be among the better wielders of destructive devices (funny considering that's precisely the felonious charges against me). It's almost as if my good upbringing and corrective punishment actually accomplished aim of producing a better citizen.
Just for fun, I'll throw this idea out there, that the removal of the 2A right AFTER an individual has completed "restorative justice" is an indictment of that institution. Shouldn't those subjected to the most confinement and training be the best among us, considering we're blank slates merely requiring the correct programming?
Tangent thought considering my left of center friends, my only Libertarian friend Nick was recently a feature in the "news".

The interesting thing is he was anti-gun up until recently. His nature tends towards pacifism. I once struck him in the face, and he apologized (and I did too).
