I don't see any "suspicious network activity" from either my Win 11 system (Chrome and Edge)or my Linux Mint System (FireFox) freebeard, so its impossible for me to know what that may be on your system.
I can only guess that it's ISP specific.
I do use the uBlock Origin's anti adware, malware etc browser extension in all those browsers, so that may be the difference.
There were no complaints about my Sci-Hub.ru links elsewhere, so I have added a new link to the paper. Hope that's working well..?
Google's bought out VirusTotal:
ye... well what Google wants is no one competing with their spyware so no doubt any AV flagging any of that has been ...'persuaded' not to.
But all the AV software used is supplied and maintained/updated by the vendor, so it's the best/easiest way for us all to have some clue.
Is VirusTotal asking you to sign up?
I am signed up (free) but as far as I know the site works without signing up.
