Hub Motor as fully active, in wheel suspension:
This would mean everything that is unsprung weight, except the rim and tire moves over to better than sprung weight. That's a decrease in unsprung weight of what? 70%?
There's a decrease in total weight too and an increase in space where the suspension used to be.
Think about how much more aero you could make the underbody if you could 'put cloroplast over those suspension wells'
The motor not being shaken around would make it more reliable and freer of weight constraints.
So what would happen if one combines these 2 ideas!??
