Ever think about locating near windows or "repeater antennas"? The latter could be a couple pieces of rebar. Or better yet 1/2 inch copper pipe couple wavelengths hung under the floor. Could even be on the dirt if insulated.

If you really want to go overboard, a uhf yagi, TV amplifier and a dipole of the correct wavelength. There's also cantennas but that is getting a wee bit overboard.
