Yep good for a fixed rpm serial hybrid if it does in fact give that improvement.
His particular Geet system does not recirculate any exhaust or add anything else to his evaporated charge.
He's just heating his vapourised air fuel mixture, so, magnetic jiggery-pokery aside, some partial oxidation (=hydrogen+carbon monoxide) may be happening..?
It will definitely make sure all fuel is vaporised.
