The idea is perhaps to evaporate fuel. In a conventional card the evaporation may cause the air/fuel mixture to cool the gas and make it more dense. Take a look at the carbs on a Honda generator. If anyone has the most efficient carb it would be the Japanese. As always: Test Don't Guess.
