Sigmund would have fit right in with modern academia, I'm sure.
It was my introduction to Freud in high school where, for the first time, I thought maybe the science wasn't as credible as previously believed. Id, Ego, Superego... I could have come up with more coherent concepts in about 2min of thought.
That said, he had some useful concepts, and those shouldn't be dismissed just because of the whacky stuff.
