...This paper introduces a solid lubricant film that can spontaneously
form on surfaces including a boron or boric oxide (B 203 ) coating.
The naturally occurring reaction film is boric acid, H3BO3...

I suspect that Toyota and the other manufacturers had secretly hidden the radio frequency- magnetron ( microwave radiation ) sputtering transmitters and crankcase vacuum-isolation devices inside the engines, in order to create the boron oxide plating that the nanometer boric acid platelets would eventually slide over.
Additionally, these secret engines also had the classified unobtainium cooling systems of which, even while the cars were pulling heavy trailers up mountain grades, at Furnace Creek, Death Valley, California, in peak Summer temperatures ( 122-F ), or ( negative - 50-F ) in Gunnison, Colorado, always had the capability to keep engine coolant and oil temperatures at 'room temperature.' Truly amazing !
Local car dealers have told me that these options were only available at Papoose Lake, Nevada, and only at the pleasure of the base commander.
