And 13th-Century, English Franciscan Friar, William of Ockham had arrived at, for the 'Church', that the invocation of a 'god', as being necessary to explain the existence of our Universe wasn't logically required.
As to Euclid, he came thousands of years after Sun Tsu published. And for him to be in a position to ponder his universe, would require the stability, security, shelter, safety, surplus sustenance, etc., only afforded by a viable nation state, in order for him to 'self-actualize.'
