Since those Prii seemed too small (that couple moved into a small RV and finally got a conventional home), I thought that a minivan would be better, but how about a Prius with a custom one-wheel trailer?

If you had an easy way of extending legs and disconnecting it, you could pull forward a couple of feet, use your hatch freely, and maybe set up a kitchen in the front of the trailer, with plenty of storage in the back.

I wouldn't try to get fancy filling the gap between them, but you could make it fill the wake.
