Olive Oil OR Murphy's Soap Oil... I imagine any sort of vegetable oil would work, however.

I've used both to remove tape residue on super high end finishes - and have used both to remove leftover tape glue from my car

You'll probably need to wax afterward though - especially in the case of Murphy's

They merely made more urgent the necessity to solve existing ones.
