My first car was a 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL that I picked up from one of my dad's friend's sons on December 6, 2001. It had 48,000 original miles on it. It was silver and beautiful and I wish I still had her *sigh*. Had to sell her a few years back to afford college. She used to get 22 MPG and that was with an automatic trans, and the smaller 12A Rotary in it. Definitely not an economical vehicle, but it turned some heads.

I'm on my first eco-car (2002 Corolla S) and my second car overall, and I will never own another automatic (this one's a standard). If I had the chance, I would buy another 85 (stick) and use it for those hot summer days that you don't care about economy and just care about cold A/C .
