Ah, yes my '73 pinto. My first car with full air dam in front. Turbocharged in '74 to 14 psi. The old 1.6L cast iron Cortina engine never blinked. Smoked the tires in first and second. And smoked the clutch in third and fourth. Totalled in '75 on ice. Bought back and fixed and resold.

Not to be forgotten, The Corvair swing arm. The Vega cylinder lining. The Olds diesel crankshaft. The Bronco/Blazer center of gravity. The Chrysler minivan transmissions.
