My first car was an 84 Cavalier wagon, 2.0, automatic. My folks bought it in 85 with 60k on it. I always liked it and it was cheap so I got it when I started driving in 92. It went to 199k easy, I drove it everywhere. My dad overheated it pretty bad once from a bad radiator but it never blew the head gasket and still never used even a quart of oil in 3000 miles. Never touched the transmission and never had any problems. Had to do very little to it really, just a few electrical problems. It was getting really rusty so I bought the 6000 wagon in 96 and sold the Cavalier for $300. The lady drove it cross country and back and had no problems except a flat tire. Eventually I found it in the junkyard after being in an accident. Great car, I still miss it.
