Yea, the high prices killed the economy, and the low ones are the result. Its not that they're bringing it back down, its because no one can afford it, and the demand for it is way down. people are driving less, buying gas less, because they need it to pay for the regular bills. no one is going out to eat, no one is going out with the family to have fun. everyone is staying at home and worrying what will happen next month.

We've been studying it in a class of mine. generally low oil prices don't mean our economy is bad, but right now it might as well be a guage telling us how close we are getting to a straight up depression.

I hope it stays down as our economy gets better. But thats something we'll just have to dream for.
