Got back from a trip for work yesterday and taking today off. Raining something fierce here, but still went to the U-Pull it yard. I found some 14 x 5" 2nd Generation Escort LX 7 spoke alloys with like new tires on them....I Couldn't Resist

This wheel/tire combo does not weigh any less (32.8lbs each), but is a half inch thinner than my 14 x 5.5" rims and almost all of that 1/2 inch is saved in track width. This will give me some good usable tires (plus the tires are a little skinnier too) until I spring for some lightweight rims, plus will help give me a little more room for the wheel skirts. I kinda like the look of them too.
Exhaust Suggestions?
On a side note: my tailpipe fell off of the muffler today and It sounds like an aftermarket coffee can racing muffler now.
I gotta do something about that! Any suggestions on exhaust modification? Is stock the best for low end torque or should I go bigger. Also thinking about a header, will this help increase efficiency at low rpms or am I just throwing my money away?...anyone have any suggestions?
