I've been quoted at ~$635/kWh FOB at the port of LA w/ a year warranty from a thundersky distributor for batteries that should (hopefully) last 2,000-3,000 cycles to 70% dod (.3C rates) w/ decent management, and I can buy them from a local distributor for ~$655/kWh although I'm not sure if he offers any warranty, so I'm curious what other manufacturers are selling for.

If capacity declines linearly I'd be looking at ~15c/kWh of storage or less, not counting charger efficiency. LS's seem to be ~25c/kWh, and they have worse charging efficiency, so for new batteries, provided TS' claims are accurate, LI seems to be the way to go. That said, they still can't compete w/ free used LAs, at what, ~10-15c/kWh for everything?
