For the power, you can try tapping into one of the radio's power lines. There's usually one constant +12V line, and one accessory +12v line, which is only on when the key is in the ACC position. It sounds like you're already tapped into another ACC line. For most Toyota's, the +12V constant line is blue with a yellow stripe.
For the other problem - try just connecting one wire at a time. Start with the injector signal, there's a screen that will tell you the GPH (gallons per hour), and if the injector signal is hooked up correctly, it will give you a reading there.
