I hear that. My commute-time is about the same, but one of the reasons I've chosen trains this time (besides it's available to me) is that I can get up to 1.5 hours/day of that back in reading time. I've been slogging through about 2 books a month. I'm reading some pretty boring technical books these days. Othertimes I get some work on my laptop done. Oh, also, my employer pays for a monthy train pass. Eh, it's a living.
