Hi I would like to inroduce myself to you all.
Name is Richard, i live in London England and have had an interest in cars for many years, staring with Banger Racing over 20 years ago, repiring mine and others cars and most recently compliting a 4 1/2 year build of a locost kit car where me and friend built own chassis and what ever else we could.
Now that is done and resting in the garage for winter upgrades i have started to think about the other idea i have had for a couple of years to do a cheap electric conversion of a standard small 4 door car that i can use to get me to work and back with the chance of being able to charge it at work as well as at home if needed.
I have already stripped many parts of a 3 Ton electric forklift and am presenly looking for a car.
I have also joined the Battery Vehicle for some other views and contacts.
