I have read that this has been their long term strategy form the start.
They are tweaking a wiener right now with a stable platform. I wanted them to offer a plug-in option, but as long as they don't short-circuit the after-market from doing this anyway, I don't mind for now.
An "extreme-aero" option pack that has wheel skirts is definitely a no-brainer.
