So the new Prius has a full EV mode !!!!

Yes ! -Quote from their site " The EV mode drives solely under battery power for up to one half mile under certain conditions ."

In the words of my dad " Oh great! For what ? , So you have something to get you 2,500 feet closer to the gas station when you run out of gas ??"

This is the saddest thing I've seen in a long time.

One half mile of EV range at a top speed of 41 MPH.

Wow. That's progress.
