Thinking out loud here... but when you have something REALLY BAD happen to one component, will it puke all over the other component and take it out too???

...I've seen too many all-in-one appliances become useless when just one of the components go out. I have a rescued TV/VCR in the bedroom with just that problem. :-)

Not trying to rain on anyone's parade; especially with the temps such as they are at the moment... :-(
