Keep in mind you can't "officially" swap in a diesel that hasn't been EPA approved for LDVs during whatever MY your vehicles is, so it would have to be something like a VW 2004+ VW TDI engine, etc.. If ya don't have any inspections, any engine should be O.K. for flying under the radar, but otherwise it has to be from the same year as your vehicle or newer and it has to be EPA approved for use in another LDV.
