I haven't seen exactly what Christ is talking about, but I highly recommend 3M Double-Sided Duck Tape. Holds really well but still peels off easily and cleanly. It's thick and gummy, and will even restick really well up to a point. I've had my cab Kamm stuck on for a month now with that stuff. But as with other adhesives, cold damp weather will make it uncooperative, so pick your moments.

And Goof Off gets a thumbup, too. No problems on the car paint at all. Try Goof Off 2 in a spray.

Also for a 1-sided tape, I've gotten stronger and cleaner results with Gorilla Tape than Duck.
