I've got my iduino mpguino installed in my vx. 50 vs 60 mph doesn't seem to make much difference. The key is keeping a happy throttle position; that's where the mpguino has really helped. Cruising at 60 mph on flat gets me about 60 mpg on a warm day with no lights on. The problem is, it's almost impossible to find flat road in So Cal.
As I spend more time with this thing, I think I'll be able to better answer your question.
I definitely encourage everyone to build one! If I can do it, anyone can do it! This is the first project involving soldering or circuitry I've ever done.
