That isn't obscure enough, some companies actually use them, and they aren't rechargable in a normal way.

Isn't that the same as the $.35 ones I linked to? LIFEPO4 is much more stable and is the best lithium battery available for an EV at the moment, that isn't to say the the sulphur or magnesium varieties might not overcome it with time.
