So after two decades of getting invites to the Electric COOP meetings...

I finally go to one. Mainly because they said there would be food.

Anyway, they had a lil display with different kinds of light bulbs and there was a Kill-A-Watt hooked up to it. Hmmm, forum people here and there saying Kill-A-Watt this and Kill-A-Watt that, you are a doof ifn ya dont buy one. So I axed em ifn I could borrow it and they said shure.

Free Kill-A-Watts! I bet lotsa yoos could borrow em from yer local utilities if yer too cheap ta buy one like I am.

They actually had some interesting things to say before we finally got our pie and ice cream. MUCH wind power being added so that was discussed, as well as consumer-owned wind generators and what's involved with that. And then there was a pic in their powerpoint presentation of the new billing girl!
