I saw a show a few days ago about trains.
I was surprised to see that miners use small underground trains that run on diesel.
The engines have a particulate filter that filters the exaust so well that there are practically no emissions at all.
At first, I wondered how this would work on a street car, but then realized that the fuel economy and acceleration would be horrendous.
It looks like it is possible in the article above though.
It's good to see someone sucessfully using the filters on cars.
