Cool, very bright. (I might say too bright can be bad, exacerbates my migraines at times, also the new yellow police bars are so friggin bright at night that I can't see the road. But considering that the police now come around from the right side I don't think I will hit them.)
Buuut, for Fog it will definitely keep people from running into you. In fact for fog maybe a set on full for running lights, and a set just for brakes.
I know in Europe there is a standard for a rear-facing red fog lamp, I don't know why you can't get them over here.
